It appears that George Zimmerman has been set free on $150,000 bail. The judge determined that he was not likely to attempt to escape from the country, and after giving certain restrictions, allowed him to post bail.
Zimmerman will now have to wear a GPS-enabled ankle bracelet so that police can monitor his location at all times, and will have to follow a very strict curfew schedule. He has relinquished his passport to the police, and will not be able...

George Zimmerman has been arrested and officially charged with second degree murder in the killing of Trayvon Martin in Florida. Zimmerman, who had been in hiding because of a $10,000 bounty put on his head by the New Black Panther Party, contacted police and turned himself in after hearing that he was being officially charged. The shooting of Trayvon Martin on February 26, 2012 has become one of the most well-known events of the year so far.
